CLEVELAND -- Toledo held on for a 51-49 victory against Kent State in the semifinals of the Mid-American Conference Tournament, despite shooting a pitiful 4-of-14 from the free-throw line, including two key misses with 6.6 seconds remaining.
Kent State struggled all night, shooting just 25 percent from the field, and they couldn't get off a final shot as time expired despite getting the ball up court quickly.
Naama Shafir led the way for Toledo, as she was the only Rocket to hit double-digits with 13.
