Former Falcon Dan Sexton was named the first star of the night for his two-goal performance in the Anaheim Duck's 4-3 win against the Dallas Stars.

In just his third NHL game, Sexton scored two goals in the third period, the first coming 6:08 into the period to cut the deficit to 3-2. His second tied the game with just a minute remaining in regulation.

Sexton's line-mate Saku Koivu then won the game in overtime for the Ducks. Sexton was on the ice for 15:06 and also had first career penalty for goalkeeper interference in the first period. The former Falcon also had a game high nine shots on goal.

On the game tying goal, Sexton carried the puck from his own blue line, weaved through a couple of Dallas Stars and fired a short angle shot that beat Star's goalie Marty Turco.
