BG men's basketball coach Louis Orr has announced the addition of Dennis Hopson to his 2009-10 season coaching staff. Hopson, a Toledo native, formerly worked as an assistant coach at Northwood University, in West Palm Beach, Fla.
In his two years at Northwood, Hopson helped the team to a 54-14 record en route to back-to-back Florida Sun Conference Championships.
As a player, Hopson won an NBA title with the 1991 Chicago Bulls, and also had stints with the New Jersey Nets and the Sacramento Kings after his collegiate career at Ohio State.
