Today, BGSU President Dr. Carol Cartwright confirmed the University will commit $2.5 million to the BGSU Ice Arena from its capital improvement funds.
There was an additional $1.5 million secured from the state by Rep. Randy Gardner and Senator Mark Wagoner.
This $4 million commitment is a step in the right direction towards ensuring the future of BG hockey and the Ice Arena past the 2009-10 season.
