BG's women's basketball team will host Chicago State in the first round of the 2009 Preseason WNIT on Nov. 13.
This is the second appearance in the preseason tournament, and the first since the Falcons lost 89-41 to Ohio State in November of 2004. In the WNIT every team will be guaranteed three games with first and second round losers moving into a consolation bracket.

Every game of the tournament is hosted by a school, so it is not yet determined how many games the Falcons will have in Anderson Arena. The Falcons got a considerably easy first-round draw as they're one of nine teams entering the tournament with 20 or more wins from the 2008-09 season.
If the Falcons win, they will face either Ohio State or Eastern Illinois in the second round on either Nov. 15 or 16 at a site to be determined. Both teams had over 20 wins last season.
